subtle worlds

The following works were created during the period of April 2024 to July 2025; they pursue the theme of subtle worlds. This body of work explores material qualities used to create layers of transparency as part of my artistic process in the act of defining the mark. Through various media and technical approaches, subtlety functions in line and colour—physically obscuring the surfaces that appear, while also concealing the transformation of these worlds. Overall, these works treat the tension between revelation and obfuscation, questioning what lies beneath the surface and what stories are told—or untold—through acts of covering and uncovering.
